Coire simply spurred her horse on... paying no mind as night fell and dawn broke, she single-mindedly headed west.

Then, just as the sunlight that had been on her back moved to the left side of her face... the horse's pace slackened.

It seemed the effects of the spirit potion had worn off. However, the horse she was riding showed no particular signs of fatigue.

From the light, regular sound of its hooves, she could tell there was no problem with its gait.

That spirit potion... she had heard it was best to avoid giving it for two days in a row.

Since it seems to be running without issue, I'll let it continue.

Still, there was truly... nothing but rocks and sand to be seen all around.

There wasn't even any grass, let alone water. It was certainly understandable why she was told to prepare drinking water.

She probably wouldn't enjoy a sight like this. I should hurry on ahead...

Coire continued to let the horse run at a natural pace without stopping... and eventually, a river crossing her field of vision from left to right came into view.
