After treating the Grand Duke's wounds at the watering hole, Coai and the others were spending the night in a village near the country's border. However, Coai, unable to sleep, sensed the presence of someone sneaking into the village.

The intruder she eventually confronted repeated incomprehensible statements to Coai.

"Lucia"... The intruder uttered the name of someone Coai didn't know, then flew into a rage and spewed insults. In response, Coai prepared to attack.
