Synopsis of the Previous Chapter

Koai, as the king of the Green Demon Tribe (Elves)—that is, the Demon Lord—repeatedly fought against humans and the powerful warriors and mages known as the 'Servants of God.' However, among the humans, a leader who desired peace with Koai and her people appeared... Grand Duke Federico of Angel.

Koai and her allies overcame the interference of humans who wished to continue the war, as well as the presence lurking behind them, and succeeded in building a cooperative relationship with the Grand Duke. They then decided to fight with the goal of suppressing those who plotted to continue the war—to kill Koai and dominate the elves—and to create a world situation where elves and humans could coexist.

To fulfill Snow's wish for a world where elves could live without being tormented by humans... Koai made this her reason for living, fighting, and continuing to win.

Having sworn to cooperate and decided on their future course of action, Koai's party advanced from Solca Village—a village in the northwest of their territory—deep into the forest, eventually returning to the lakeside of their residence, Talas Castle.

"Phew... We've finally arrived."

Hearing the voice, Akudo, who was driving the carriage, brought the horses to a stop.

"Oh? For all the trouble that happened, the castle's fortifications seem to have little damage."

"The inside of the castle is a bit of a mess, but well, we'll fix it up eventually."

The party looked up at the castle towering beyond the lake under the blue sky and took a breath.
