"Mmm..."

Koai, still soaking up to her waist in the hot water, met Snow's eyes.

It seemed the other girl was at a bit of a loss.

"Is it hard to wash you while you're sitting there? Try standing up for a sec."

Without a single question, Koai stood up just as she was told. Perhaps because she stood up so vigorously, a little water splashed from the tub onto the floor... and droplets from her body fell on top of it.

"Alright, then..."

Perhaps it was because the other girl was beaming, but Koai turned her whole body toward her as if drawn by an invisible hand.

The girl, whom Koai faced and stared at directly, returned her gaze... without looking away, she placed the bucket on the floor and wet the edge of a washcloth in the hot water.

Then, folding the washcloth to cover the wet part, she edged closer to Koai.

So close. She's right there.
