After the woman at the jewelry store recommended another shop, the two decided to obediently pay it a visit.

"Thank you, miss clerk."
"Not at all. I sincerely hope that you two are able to purchase a fine item."
Watching Snow exchange words with the clerk, Coai remained completely silent.

As expected, Coai found this sort of overly affected politeness... bothersome.
It felt like they were just putting on an act, which only served to drag out the conversation... She really couldn't stand it.

Without a word, Coai took Snow's hand, and they left the jewelry store together.

Then, two doors down... they tried entering a shop with a somewhat old-fashioned exterior.

"Welcome... What can I do for you two?"
Here, a middle-aged man with a long, sideways-stretching mustache stood up and called out to them.
However, unlike the composed woman at the jewelry store they had visited earlier, this man's demeanor was a bit rough.

"We want rings. For the two of us."
Coai didn't put on any airs, stating her request directly.
