Koai left Pfull Castle alone and headed further west... crossing the Tabris territory from east to west, she made her way to a walled city near the Rurumiuz River, which served as the border.
It was similar to the journey she had taken in the past... in search of a ring to give to Snow.

And, it was the same. Just like that time.
That time, she had just returned to her own world, suffering from a cold or something of the sort.
This time, she probably returned to her own world... suffering from a bad hangover.

Was it really alright to let her go back alone?
...Come to think of it, I was worrying about the same thing as I headed west back then, too.
Back then, it seemed to be fine.
I pray... that she'll be well again the next time we meet.

Aboard her leisurely-paced horse, Koai recalled her past journey.

Last time, if I recall... I wanted to summon her, so I rushed into the first town I found.
At that time, I had mistaken the town I rushed into for one along the border... but because of that, the two of us were able to ride across the open plains together.

Now, there was no sign of a walled city nearby.
If I can get into a walled city where I can summon her, maybe this time, too... it would be nice to travel with just the two of us.

Day and night, Koai continued westward without stopping, though she let the horse set its own pace.
However, on this journey, she did not find a walled city before reaching the border.

I suppose it can't be helped.
Out here, there's no shelter from the sand, debris, and dust carried by the wind. In other words, I can't guarantee I can summon her safely.
Still, there's no need to panic. I can just proceed to the walled city along the border and summon her there.

Although Koai thought this atop her horse... even after arriving at Auvers, the walled city on the western border she had visited before, she didn't take an inn, nor did she summon Snow.
Somehow, I want to spend some time alone, just thinking about her... For some reason, that's what I felt.
