At dusk, she faintly opened her eyelids.

The moment she noticed, Coai couldn't help but speak.

"Good morning, Snow."

Usually, Coai would wait for a fully awake Snow to say "good morning" to her.
To enjoy the sequence of her eyes opening, her mouth opening, and hearing her voice...
But today, she couldn't do that. The instant Snow's eyelids parted, the words came out.

Perhaps that was how much she had been longing for her to wake up.
She had thought it was enjoyable to endlessly watch her sleep by her side, but...
Maybe, somewhere in her heart... she had felt lonely that Snow wasn't waking up at all.
She wanted her voice, her gaze, her fingertips... directed at her, and soon.

"Mmm... I think I slept a lot... I was sleeping, right?"
"You weren't waking up, so I was a little worried."
Although she said that, Coai hadn't tried to wake her... and had even been enjoying it on the inside. She was supposed to have been enjoying it.

A day spent snuggled up to her as she slept for nearly the entire day, just watching her.

But now, more than that... she wanted to take in every last bit of her awakened form, her voice, her expressions.

Coai shook off her extraneous thoughts and focused her attention solely on her.

"Ah, so that's what it was... Sorry, I've been sleep-deprived lately."
She gave her usual wry smile. While smiling wryly, she mentioned being sleep-deprived but didn't touch on the reason... and then, her face drew closer.

"Oh, right... Mph!"
Her face was close, their eyes met, then closed...
