When Coai awoke to the light of the morning sun, she felt Snow's presence at her back.

Lying on her side, the other girl was behind her.
Her arm was around the curve of her waist.
Her arm was beneath her, from her neck to her cheek.
From behind Coai, she had both her arms outstretched.

Her arms, not tight enough to be called an embrace, held Coai captive.
Her arms, neither tight nor forceful, rested softly against Coai.
Her arms, where they touched, seemed warm yet felt cool.

It wasn't just her arms. The wind blowing in from the window was also colder than yesterday.
Perhaps it was a slightly chilly morning.
If so... would she be alright?
Wouldn't she catch a cold from the chill while sleeping?

Coai grew worried about Snow and tried to turn over to check on her...
But she couldn't.
Even though she wasn't being held tightly, she couldn't move.
