Countless times, I had watched over her as she slept.

It was always a peaceful, warm moment.

That warmth was the same today. Or so I thought, but it also felt... a little different.

Coai lay on the bed in the bedroom, gazing at Snow's flushed face as she slept beside her.

Seeing that color, she felt relieved that Snow wasn't suffering from a bad hangover, and she continued to watch the happily relaxed corners of her eyes and mouth.

In their bedroom, a place for just the two of them, with no intruders, no unnecessary presences or sounds... a place Coai could call her 'sanctuary,' she gazed at her.

As she did so, her own lips curved into a smile, completely unconsciously. Just like hers.

Coai wasn't drunk, but she felt a warmth. Probably, just like her.

It was a warmth that seemed to spread from within her body to her very core. Was this, too, the same as what she was feeling?
